iHire Recognized on Inc. Magazine’s List of Best Workplaces for 2021

Recruitment marketing leader honored for strong company culture and exceptional employee engagement in third year on prestigious list

Frederick, Maryland – May 12, 2021 – iHire has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for the second straight year and third time in company history. The 2021 list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of American companies that have created exceptional workplaces and company culture whether teams are operating in person or remotely.

Collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. singled out 429 honorees this year. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including management effectiveness, perks, and fostering employee growth. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine the company’s overall score and ranking.

iHire earned a Best Place to Work Score of 93.27 out of 100 – up from 2020’s score of 92.79. The survey also showed that 90.57% of employees were “highly engaged” with their jobs while “collaborative” was the top word used to describe iHire’s work environment.

“Earning a spot on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list for two years running – even with a remote workforce – says a great deal about iHire’s company culture,” said Steve Flook, iHire’s President & CEO. “However, it says more about our people. No matter the challenges that arise, like COVID-19, our employees always come together to foster a collaborative, innovative, and growth-focused environment.”

2021 has already been a banner year for iHire, as the company made its first-ever acquisition in April when WorkInSports joined the iHire family of talent brands. In addition, iHire has continued to expand and adapt its employee benefits to engage its remote workforce, such as a monthly home internet stipend, virtual yoga classes, online team-building activities, and end-of-year “swag” (iHire-branded merchandise) hand-delivered to associates’ homes by team leaders.

“The definition of a positive workplace has changed drastically over the past year,” said Inc. magazine Editor-in-Chief Scott Omelianuk. “Stocked fridges and nap pods were no longer perks many companies could rely on once work went remote. So, this year’s list is even more important as it reveals organizations that continue to enrich the lives of its employees amid a pandemic.”
